Volunteer opportunities are available for individuals, groups and organizations throughout the 10 days of the Super Fair! Volunteers like you are critical to making each year’s fair a success! Volunteer jobs can be tailored around your interests and and abilities.
VOLUNTEER ROLES
- Admission Gate Ticket Takers
- Parking Lot Attendants
- Cafe & Bar tenders
- Figure 8 Scorers
VOLUNTEER BENEFITS
All volunteers working at least 4 hours receive:
- Super Fair T-shirt (while supplies last)
- Unlimited fountain drinks including soda, iced tea, lemonade, ice water
- Breaks, shade, snacks will be provided as much as possible (depends how busy we are!)
- One (1) meal from any Lancaster Event Center café for all volunteers working 4 or more hours!
All upaid volunteers receive:
- If you need certification of your volunteer hours for school or other organization, we are happy to sign your form for you
- Earn 4 fair gate tix & 1 fair parking ticket after working 2 shifts ($17 value)
All paid volunteers receive:
- $12/hr either to individuals OR to their designated youth/nonprofit group as a fundraiser for said group

Unpaid Volunteer Opportunities
The Lancaster County Ag Society invites 4-H/FFA exhibitors and their families to participate in our annual Super Fair Family Fun Volunteer Days at the Lancaster Event Center. The key to success of any county fair is volunteers and we need your help to get the fairgrounds ready each year. Jobs are available for all ages (5+), physical abilities and experiences. You can count on making new friends and having fun together while making each year’s fair better than ever! Sign up is encouraged by July 20 so we can have jobs ready for you.
