Lancaster Event Center (LEC) fairgrounds is slowly adding shows back with limited capacity and working with each show to modify to be as safe as possible. In addition to basic COVID guidelines, like face coverings, 6' social distancing and hand washing, LEC has:

• built our own dispenser stands and placed hand sanitizer throughout buildings.

• hired extra cleaning staff and increased frequency of cleaning.

• installed plexiglass at contact interaction areas such as office and cafes.

• extra staff to assure DHMs are being followed.

1.  COVID Liability Waiver here - required for fair attendees and any LEC show attendees staying more than one day

2. Face coverings over nose/mouth will be required for all while indoors due to new Lincoln/Lancaster County Health directed health measure as of July 20 unless you fit in one of the exceptions outlined in the DHM here. Known common exceptions to wearing face coverings for the Super Fair will be:

a. you are mounted on a horse

b. leading a horse for a halter class while in a warmup or show horse arena only (doesn’t apply to livestock due to smaller ring size)

c.  you are seated and actively eating/drinking

d.  youth 4 and under or,

e.  you are in a set position for the show where 6’ distance can be maintained all day which will be limited show officials at this time.

Show officials using a shared microphone over the course of the day will be asked to wear face coverings as well.

Face coverings can be a simple bandana. Disposable masks will be available for $1 purchase at entry doors.
