Nebraska Cornhusker College Rodeo

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln has a rich history of rodeo dating back almost 60 years. Their rodeo program aims to maintain and increase college students’ interest in rodeo sports, promote higher scholastic standards, and uphold sportsmanship through competitive college rodeo events.

The program includes both the University of Nebraska Rodeo Association (UNRA) Club and the UNL Rodeo team.The UNL Rodeo Team competes in the Great Plains Region alongside other teams from Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. They participate in various rodeos throughout the season, aiming to qualify for the College National Finals Rodeo. So, if you’re a rodeo enthusiast, mark your calendar for the Nebraska Cornhusker College Rodeo and come cheer on the talented athletes!

DATES/HOURS:

Friday, May 3:

12pm - 4pm (free admittance)

7pm - 10pm (Performance #1, must have ticket, gates open at 5:30pm)

10pm - 12am (dance)

Saturday May 4:

9:30am - 11:30am (Barrel Race, Free admittance)

1pm - 4pm (Performance #2, must have ticket, doors open at Noon)

7pm - 10pm (Performance #3, must have tickets, doors open at 5:30pm)

10pm - 11:30pm (Awards presentation)

TICKETS
VIP Seating:

• VIP Tables (all ages): $35 in advance / $40 day of
  • VIP experience at arena level with padded chairs and VIP Bar service steps away (6 per table)
• 2 Years & Under FREE if on lap
• ADA Reserved Adult Seating: $15 in advance / $20 day of (see details below)
• ADA Reserved Youth Seating: $10 in advance/ $15 day of
  • Limit 2 per person.
  • Chairs removable for wheelchair if needed.
  • Suggest rest of group reserve in nearby section.

General Admission:

• Adult (Ages 13+): $15 in advance / $20 day of
• Youth (12 & under): $10 in advance / $15 day of
• College Student with ID: $10 at door only 
• 2 Years & Under FREE if on lap
